When I woke up I saw a single email from Binance, a successful withdrawal notification. My entire account had been converted into BTC and sent away. I had 2FA enabled.
According to Binance, a new device authorization as well as a withdrawal confirmation email were indeed sent. The hackers with my email access must have deleted them, according to Binance. How they got through 2FA though I don't understand. I am currently in possession of all phones that have ever had google auth on them.
I have sent all relevant information including the transaction ID, etc to local authorities as well as the FBI through ic3.gov. I am not feeling very hopeful at the moment. Actually a little fearful, because I dont have the slightest clue how this happened, or how I can prevent them from clearing out another account. I have changed all passwords, I even re-set windows on my laptop.
Any advice much appreciated.
