How do I decide which crypto is best to buy?

All Cryptocurrencies

by COINS NEWS 94 Views

I entered cryptocurrency after the huge dip in 2022. I'm relatively new, so I buy a lot of BTC and ETH, because I know these two are the big ones which are very likely to be safe investments.

At the same time, after hanging around here for a while, I've seen a lot of other coins being talked about in this sub like ADA, MATIC, XRP, ALGO, ATOM, DOT, DOGE, CRO and not to forget MOONs. This leads me to be curious, how do I know which cryptocurrency coin I should be buying? What is a normal portfolio allocation - should it be based on risk appetite, as alts are probably riskier? Do you buy based on regularity (DCA), portfolio allocations (e.g. MATIC 20% of portfolio) or just random dips?

tldr: Overall, how do you guys make decisions in crypto about what to purchase?
