How do you join a DAO if you are broke?

I have a CS degree and some experience working as a web developer for fin-tech companies. Recently I became interested in ethereum development and freelancing. I wanted to make some of my own Dapps but I also have to be realistic and figure out how to make ends meet to survive. I'm developing a couple personal projects at the moment, a video game with the Ethereum-based Solidity and a weather app with React and Node.js .

Recently I listened to a bankless podcast and really became inspired. I would love to join a DAO and essentially just code and program things in the ethereum / web3 environment that are meaningful to me. I have a bunch of cool ideas and also have been talking to someone from a startup incubator. I feel if I could be most productive with an autonomous type of structure where things are more collaborative. For example in the podcast they were talking about how essentially with legacy companies , lets say it would not be likely 1/3 of Microsoft Employees would work for Apple but with an Ethereum based DAO you basically can join as many DAOs or be involved with as many projects as you want.

I found the traditional corporate environment to be very inefficient for example basically if a company dosn't pay an employee then the employee would have to go the states labor department and go through a lengthy process. With smart contracts this could be totally avoided without a 3rd party mediator. Also I think it would be cool to work whenever I want (autonomous is awesome) . I have a personal schedule designed for max productivity that may not mesh with a traditional closed minded corporate environment. Also the potential for innovation within the ethereum network is amazing.

What is really great about DAOs is that essentially with a decentralized structure anybody who makes contributions will be recognized and not judged for irrelevant things. I would love to be apart of cutting edge technology that is the future. I hope for a better tomorrow.
