First off sorry for the format. I'm typing this from a phone
So I'm sure a lot of us are dealing with grief after this event happened. And I honestly didn't recognize this until I already sold, but I would've been quicker to the mark and likely had a few hundred more in pocket if I understood the 5 stages of grief.
- denial.
- anger.
- bargaining.
- depression.
- acceptance.
What slowed me down a bit was flat out denial. I read through the announcement a few times, somewhat understood what it meant, and until I got into the anger stage. I wouldn't move my crypto. I imagine there is many who still hold it because they are going through the stages.
But one thing that also screwed me over was not having things like metamask ready on my phone, trying to remember what cex buys it, and I totally forgot I can swap it. This also cost me a bit. Like yes I had a general plan for the next bull run. But it never occurred to me there could be a moment where I needed to immediately sell my moons.
Due to this I found I need to understand and better recognize if I'm in grief. Also I need to have a better plan for if shit hits the fan and I need to do something now.
