How I lost quite alot of money in cryto

Long story short: I am an idiot!

I got in crypto in about december 2020 and started with buying XLM because they had a fuckin rocket as their logo. Can't go wrong with it huh?

Well, I managed to go wrong because I heard of a XRP PnD and switched the coins over, unfortunaltey I was dump and didn't know how these things work and missed the point before shit hit the fan.

Second, Bought ATOM, DOT and DOGE, again switched them for other things chasing pumps, and guess what -> I didn't make any profit.

THEN when I had some ATOM and DOT again and saw them rocket in May 2021 I didn't take any profits and BOOM, back at the bottom again.

After that I started to think what kind of dumbass I am?

If I just hodld my XLM, DOT, ATOM and would have set some goals where I am willing to sell and buy back lower after the next dip I would have made several Ks in profit in half a year.

From this time on I just bought some stuff I did my research and had set sell orders, also, I learned that patience is key and You can always buy more in the next dip and should not chase pumps.

Please tell me I am not the only idiot here but I guess the expensive way of learning may be the best.
