How long until other platforms adopt the r/cryptocurrency moons model?

‘Imaginary internet points’ have existed for decades but never with such a direct financial component as moons. Currently, if you want to make money on the likes of Instagram, tiktok etc you’ve got to be one of the most popular content creators. On r/cryptocurrency, your level of contribution dictates your slice of the moon-pie each month.

I believe that if it proves profitable for reddit and it’s advertisers, we will see this model adopted across a larger span of subreddits and likely to other social media platforms- in turn making moons the OG online community contributor coin.
