Personally, I haven't found that many opportunities to use crypto to pay for anything. Other than using BitPay once or twice, and infrequently using the Coinbase card (which still sells crypto and pays in fiat), l've only made one purchase with crypto, specifically ethereum for a custom caseify case, which was really just a novelty.
I feel like until there's an easy/convenient way to send and confirm that a cryptocurrency has been sent, it's going to stay this way.
A few things still make paying with cash/card easier: 1. Quick to approve transactions 2. User friendly 3. Obviously accepted everywhere 4. No fear of sending money to the wrong address, etc.
