Hey all, not sure if this is the appropriate sub, but I'm curious if any of you have experience allocating part of your retirement account into BTC? If so, how and what did you do? Is there a BTC ETF, IRA, 401k, etc, you rolled over a portion of your account into? My employer doesn't have any retirement accounts offering exposure to bitcoin so I'm curious to options. Thanks in advance for sharing/any suggestions!
Update: for those interested, I spoke with my account rep and verified they do not hold any positions in BTC/crypto. These specialized retirement accounts are a bit over my head (self-directed IRA, solo 401k, etc.), so I ended up reallocating to mutual funds holding companies invested in BTC (Microstrategies - thanks for recommending, Tesla, and such). While disappointed, I'm trying to be optimistic and I think this is a good example of how early we still are. Once GBTC becomes an option, I will be jumping into that as well. Thanks for everyone's input!
