I have an idea for an ERC and am looking into writing it. I am having trouble figuring out what ERC number I should use however. In the official EIP's repo they go up to 7549, on the ethereum magicians forum I see EIPs higher than that like 7556 and 7555, and on the official EIP tracking website they go up to 7540. Where do I find the list of ERC drafts if there is one and if not what number do I use if it even matters. Thanks all.
