Every time I want to find the negative points of something I come here so I have a question for the sub.
I'm not a written seed maximalist so I'm open to alternatives that allow you to have a sort of backup even envolving a trusted third part (I'm feeling already the hate of someone). A few days ago I discovered the Binance web3 wallet and I starded dyoring avout the MPC custody, finding something about Zengo. Have to admit I don't think I ever heard of them before but I really like the fact that you can recover access to your wallet using face ID since cit. " Instead of the traditional seed phrase, Zengo is powered by two independently-created βsecret shares.β One share (your Personal Share) is created and stored on your mobile device. The second share (your Remote Share) is created and secured on ZenGoβs servers. "
Considering I don't fully trust this company since I didn't find it much informations about it and operates outside the EU, my question is this:
Assuming that every device connected to the internet it's compromised or could be, how could I store my seed (even encrypted on a cloud) without having to write it or read it on one of these devices and still have it protected by a strong password or biometrics?
I already have a Ledger so the question here is about the seed storage.
Let me add that I don't want to make multiple physical written copies and hide it in 4 different countries (irony)
I thank in advance those who'll provide me a useful answer.
