When I got a Reddit NFT I really did so expecting immediate backlash when posting anywhere outside of r/cc, it was the first time I bought an NFT and did so because
I think it's a cool thing for a company like Reddit to embrace so much blockchain tech.
They look great and the money directly supports independent artists
The use case, mix and match and platform integration is the coolest use of NFT tech I've seen to date
If series 1 end up being like Runescape party hats I don't want to have missed out
What I didn't expect was to see so many of them outside of r/cc, see SO many users with them on r/cc, and not receive negative comments every time I post on a non blockchain based board
I genuinely think among the younger skewed progressive audience on Reddit there isn't as much hostility towards good deployments of blockchain as there might be on other parts of the internet
I really love this project and props to Reddit for continuing to embrace new tech both for themselves and for users
