I got my dad into crypto

I talk to my dad about my gains/losses and all the lessons I’ve learned being invested in crypto for the last year.

My dad is 66, and is the most stubborn person I’ve ever known. Basically anything he’s unfamiliar with he won’t touch.

I remember he broke his 20 year old keyboard once, and he was complaining about the new keyboard he had to use for months.

Last night I officially convinced my dad to make a Coinbase account and do the free lessons.

I know this isn’t epic crypto news for anyone, but I’m happy that even my dad is interested.

I of course made sure my dad understands that crypto is very volatile and to set stop loss orders and to understand crypto can just as easily go down in value as it can go up so invest carefully.

Anybody else here have stories of friends/family they introduced to the crypto world?
