I’ve been hodling since 2018. I had a hard wallet for a time but I don’t know why I was “afraid” of moving out of my crypto exchange service (is it reliable? What if something goes wrong? Etc).
After the events of the last couple weeks I decided to move everything to my hard wallet in order to properly make sure I owned my assets. I was charged just under 1 USD.
I first sent a small amount just to make sure things were working. It took 20 seconds for the transaction to show in my wallet. After that, I decided to move the rest. In some way it looks like a leap of faith, but let me tell you: it was worth it. Haven’t felt this safe in a long time.
I just wanted to get that off my chest hoping others would make the leap.
