I once had 100,000 bitcoin

Somewhere around 2009 - 2010 (definitely before August 2010) one of my friends told me about bitcoin and the dark web and how it was possible to buy weed online.

So, down the rabbit hole we go and chip in to convert our hard earned EUR 100 to bitcoin. Now, as I said, I'm not sure how much it was per bitcoin, but it seems somewhere around the 0.1c per bitcoin mark, or approx. 100,000 bitcoin. This was all done on my friend's computer, so during the 2018 price spike, I called him up to ask if he actually spent it all and he said that for once in his life he was thorough and transferred every single one if it when buying it. On top of that, that computer used is long gone. (Or is that exactly what he would say if it wasn't the case...?)

Just to rub it in, that's EUR 3,381,900,000 or about $3.6b USD at today's price. Funny enough, it doesn't phase me or him as we only ever saw it as a transaction, basically just an annoying way to transfer money. But yeah, what could have been...
