I’m 14 (M) in Canada, BC and want to start setting myself up with investments and I decided crypto would be the easiest one to try and tackle but my parents are against crypto and I have tried to convince them with every tactic I’ve found here and it’s still a no, and I don’t have a bank account currently so I can’t pay with debit and I very much look like my age, actually I look younger so that removes in person transactions through sites like local bitcoin and bisq and there’s no cash by mail options available for me on both sites.
So what I’ve been thinking of doing is using the bitcoin atms specifically insta coin as the machine has no ID KYC requirements and is also near me I already have a couple wallets setup, (cake and trust for example). I also have burner sms number for the phone number required, I plan on placing 324 (chose 324 to account for the fee so I can end up around 300$). dollars cash over 2 weeks. What I’m worried about is if the owner of the store will do something if I try I’ve been weighing out if I should get someone to do it for me but that feels risky as I don’t have anyone I trust that can and would do that.
Mining is out of the question as the cost is just to high and I don’t want to do that to my parents with the electricity bill and all, so that’s where I stand currently if anyone has some advice or a suggestion it’s very much appreciated. I plan on investing for partial help in my college fund but mostly I’ll be in for the long haul.
Edit: to scammers please don’t waste your time dming me with telegram offers I’m not that young.
