This comes from mostly new people into the space or individuals that haven't even been in the crypto space. I hear this far too often "If I have bought BTC 10 years ago, I would have been a millionaire!". Truth be told they would not have been able to hold it till there 10x-100x.
Most of those people have had reasons they made it.
- Complete and utter trust with BTC
- Force HODL through imprisonment
- Those who bought and completely forgot about it
Only a small fraction of people ould have been able to HODL. I wish I can be one of them but in reality, I know I cannot hold past a100x gain.
Don't beat yourself for selling your cryptos early and trust be told 99% would not have been able to HODL it for so long. I feel like thinking like this is just stressing yourself and giving yourself the agony. Instead, spend the time to DYOR and get some coins that you believe are undervalued. I have bought a couple this year and I am content with them and their outcome.
