Illegal stablecoins in Europe after MiCa?

Hello!

Currently it looks like big exchanges in Europe would have to delist stablecoins that are issued by institutes without EMI (E-Money Institution) license, after MiCa regulations will kick off in the EU in April.

Cercle (USDC) is currently awaiting their license for the EU, I couldn‘t find anything about Tether (USDT).

If you hold stablecoins in Europe, I think it is wise to check if the issuer is EMI licensed and rather move your money, if he ain‘t. USDC looks to be good for $, Monerium EURO looks good for €.

Hope this is according latest information, it is what I found at this moment.

Stay safe!
