I’m done with ledger

Sure another hardware wallet could get firmware that extracts the seed, or already be extracting the seed, but that’s not certain, what is certain is that ledgers new firmware will do so, or at least have the ability to do so, which rules me out for future ledger products.

I’ve carefully considered ledger’s “new feature” and it has become clear to me that the decision makers there don’t understand cryptocurrency at all, the main point of cryptocurrency is that you can truly own your money, and have complete control over it, which leads to more freedom.

I have to believe they don’t understand it, and don’t know that they will now be taken down by another company that does understand what a cryptocurrency user wants.

Do they really think that we will just trust them? They/2 other companies now have, or are soon to have total control of perhaps billions of dollars worth of crypto.

If we stay’ed with ledger we’d just be exchanging one master for another master, (they’d be able to freeze your funds for any reason that the government allows.

Ledger will go bankrupt if they don’t change.

Protecting crypto with a ledger is much worse than having money in a bank.
