I’m officially in after beating myself up for years…

Believe it or not I was one of the early investors in Bitcoin back in 2012 and remember selling on eBay at the time when it was allowed. I wish I never sold any of those positions, but I was a young kid and never knew BTC would get to where it is today. I was a programmer and had interest in pentesting when I was 10 and became introduced to Bitcoin on a hacking forum I was active on at 13. Remember doing a purchase from another forum member with PayPal for like $50/coin. The memory brings back so many other great memories of being on Internet forums and chatting on IRC….

Over the years (18+) I did well for myself in the market as a value investor. But I never really jumped back into BTC as I watched it climb… and climb… and climb. Now that BTC sits over 100,000 I’ve rearranged my portfolio and investment horizon to recurrently buy Bitcoin. Made an initial investment of 2.5 BTC and now I’m focused on buying $10,000/month worth until it’s time to retire in about 40 years.

I wish I would’ve listened to ya’ll sooner. I was just so disciplined to hold low risk positions in a portfolio like my family has for generations. The most important change now is that I no longer feel that BTC is a high risk investment. I understand its value, and I feel that it’s also significantly undervalued at the current price.
