If adoption double it should have the same effect on Bitcoin as halving, given supply stays same with double demand
Plus adoption is something we can all help promote and speed up. Adoption can be exponential, but halving stays constant.
I think in the earlier 3 cycles, the effect of halving is greater than adoption cause adoption was slower in the start, but going forward adoption would be the engine driving price forward, as multiple times of doubling in users may happen in 4 years (say if users double every year)
50 million non-zero bitcoin address now, Paypal has 400 million users, world population 8 billion
50m 100m (UK population) 200m 400m (Paypal users), (UK + US population) 800m 1.6b (Chinese population) 3.2b (half of world) 6.2b (world population)
