In which year did you buy your first crypto?

I have tried to isolate the bull runs because I suspect that most people will vote for them. I couldn't do that for 2013 because of a lack of options. The poll is imperfect.

I am guessing that most people here bought in late 2017 or early 2018 and a significant number bought in 2021.

If you bought before 2017 then you would still be in profit with many coins (even the smaller ones) and even if you bought in the last bear market pre 2021 you would be in profit. The peaks of 2017 and 2021 were the worst times to buy.

I wonder if the next bull run will be the one which brings on the greatest number of new people or many the one after it. Crypto is too big now for most people to know about it. I remember in the early days when the community was small and not many people had heard of BTC outside of the investment geeks and alts were not really important.
