Hi, I tried to figure out that, yet I am still confused even after reading all the articles.
Different scenarios:
- You register now on Blockchain-com App, without submitting ID.
- You register now on their official website, without submitting ID.
- You registered in 2019 on their official website to generate Bitcoin addresses, without submitting ID.
4. You registered in 2013 on their official website to generate Bitcoin addresses,, without submitting ID.
It seems that if you register on their APP now, the default account will be a custodial account called "blockchain.com account". There is also a self-custodial account called "De-Fi account"(not the default account). The "secret private key recovery phrase" can recover both "custodial account" and "self-custodial account"
They changed from Blockchain-info to Blockchain-com, how does that affect the old self-custodial Blockchain-info accounts? Was it simply renamed to "De-Fi account"?
Do you know when did Blockchain-com introduce the custodial account as default account?
Thank you.
