Is choosing Crypto to invest feels like a gamble to you too?

I always do my own research, I'm a Computer Engineer with no Economics education

In 2021 and especially last three months, I have read countless crypto white papers and visited lots of projects website..

They are all claim the same "we re the solution" "we have latest security" "we re the future" bla bla bla..

There is approximately 18 THOUSAND different crypto assets to serve 5-6 (maybe more but the point I try to make is, there is not 18 thousand uniquely different assets) different area.

Such as: DAO's , DeFi solutions, NFT platforms, CeX solutions, IOT , Privacy preserving etc.

And in my opinion, even if you read and understand all of the whitepapers, its still comes to fate.

The coin you have select to invest may get attacked, badly governed or its just have a bad naming or bad marketing.

In the crypto market( as I understand), there is so much possibilities and dependencies.

There for; end of the day, I feel like filling a lottery ticket and gambling.

Of course there is unique solutions/coins/techs with solid foundations. I exclude them.

It's all seams too fragile to me. Last day I saw a post that saying " TOP100 coins in 2018" most of them couldn't preserve their values.

Long story short, there is no certainty in this market. Just DYOR and take your chance. Hope for the best.
