Iβm aware that some people outside crypto always express concerns about the energy consumption in mining (or most transactions in general) and how we might not exactly be helping with the environment.
I used to brush these off until I discovered that there are actually companies/teams in crypto that have a green/environmental focus, which caught me by surprise. TBH I thought we didnβt focus on things like these, since I figured Ethereum 2.0 and other new chains might solve this anyway.
But to my point: is it even realistic for crypto to become fully sustainable/carbon neutral, or are these companies pursuing a lost cause? I wanna know your thoughts, because I ain't staking if you aren't LOL
