Is it wrong to recommend Grayscale Bitcoin Trust?

I wouldn't call myself a Bitcoin maximalist, but I'm a strong supporter. When I talk with people who have not yet invested in Bitcoin, but are interested in it, I suggest that they buy Grayscale Bitcoin Trust either in their brokerage account or IRA. These are the people who aren't going to take the time to learn how to buy spot Bitcoin and would probably be put off by the process. I've been told by the Bitcoin purists that I'm somehow a sellout for encouraging them to buy Grayscale. In my opinion, if they're buying Grayscale, they're helping everyone in the Bitcoin community and it's probably their first step toward eventually owning Bitcoin directly. Opinions?
