Is there a Bitcoin based marketplace concept that can be stood up?

I have become interested in the marketplace businesses. I am not sure if I would consider traditional retail chains like Walmart as the analog example. eBay andAmazon rose to prominence as digital native peer to peer and business to consumer marketplaces. To some degree Coinbase is a Bitcoin ish marketplace. The lightning network is kind of a peer to peer version of this marketplace concept. Is there an application or business, maybe like the lightning network, or Fediment, that is nascent, but could gain significant use as Bitcoin adoption grows?
