Is this a normal response from MEXC?

I tried sending XLM for the first time and messed up the memo of course. Kracken to MEXC. This is their response to remedy the situation. Just wanted to see if anybody else has done something similar.

“We will deduct the token equivalent to 20USDT from the deposit as a handling fees and the balance will be credited to your account.

You need to make another successful deposit of a small amount deposit (same token with equivalent value of around 10 USDT with corret memo) from the same platform to prove this is your operation.

Please provide：

1. A screenshot of the withdrawal record of the wrong deposit and the small amount deposit

2. Transaction hash（TXID）of the wrong deposit and the small amount deposit

3. A selfie which you holding your id and a paper (the paper must write down ""MEXC.com"", MEXC registered email、""Wrong memo deposit""、current's date)
