Isn't that a bit concerning now when everybody is saying "2024 gonna be insane"?

Looking at YouTube, Twitter, Reddit, the currently sentiment is extremely bullish on 2024 - $50,000, ATH, or even $100,000 price predictions are everywhere. However, I could vividly remember on this date of 2022 how bearish the sentiment was. People were talking about how sure they were about BTC will visit $12,000, $10,000 or lower and 2023 will be another rough year due to looming hyperinflation, recession, continuous rate hike etc. It's pretty clear that the market doesn't normally go along with what most people anticipate. I wonder what could go wrong in 2024 just to throw everyone off again...
