It’s simply not trusted.

I always thought the biggest hurdle for adoption would be how complicated it ‘can’ be.

There’s also the fact that if you speak to people, who actually ‘invests’?

Apart from a pension and a house, how many people invest in gold, art, silver, stocks, ETFs, shares?

People like safe options. They want ‘guaranteed’ results so don’t invest in other assets.

I don’t think adoption, as in, 70-80% of people will adopt BTC in the world (I’m in UK), because they are just not that way inclined.

After talking to multiple people over the years, my family, friends, colleagues, all from different walks of life, the general consensus is that they just don’t trust it.

Grandparents (Have invested but nothing out of ordinary): Won’t trust it. Funny computer money. Still spends in cash.

Grandparents: (House/Pension) 80+ so don’t really care lol

Parents: (House/Pension) Criminals only use it.

Brother (Who was involved 20/21 during bull): (Saving for a house)Thinks it will crash to zero really otherwise he would be saving in it.

Business Owner friend: (1 flat, 1 house, does invest but in safe options) Uses 5% saving accounts. Just doesn’t trust it not losing value.

Tech friend: (1 house in Scandinavia)(Invests in stocks) Gets it, doesn’t trust it not going to zero.

Finance Director friend: Very by the book. Very smart. Gets it, just trusts gov more.

Girlfriend: Been sharing what’s going on with BTC with her. Just doesn’t care too much. About potentially possibilities.

Best mate: can’t think further than a week in advance. Wants the wealth but doesn’t want to put work in to stack sats.

BTC has gone from 0 to 37k in 15 years. Over 450 million BTC wallets. Adoption and hash rates at their highest.

But even still, how can it ever be trusted by the ‘majority’? Will they ever trust it?
