I've also heard it touted as a solution for supply chain, keeping important documents, etc.

My question is why wouldn't/couldn't/don't we apply it to voting? That's literally what it's for in respect to bitcoin and voter fraud is supposedly a rampant issue. So what do we think that would take? Why wouldn't it work? Would the lack of anonymity that would inherently have to be part of that system be detrimental to the voting process?

I posit that this could solve the issue of one of society's least trustworthy mechanisms so why in the absolute shit would we not do this?
