just wanna do some studying

Just turned 18 and been studying the market/crypto for a while now. Opened all the savings accounts, building my credit and all that “setting up my future” bull. However I do very much despise banks and big media so i’ve become a crypto fan (everything about it makes sense from block chains to it’s defiance towards the western banking system). What i really want to do is buy and hold for now instead of putting that money into a cd or something that’s at like 4.3%. I don’t want to sound like a sheep either but I am also on the “bitcoin is the future” wagon hard and I wanna have first class seat when the day does come. I saw the absolute shit storm that happened today and also see how risky this is but my eyes are already green and i can feel that S turning into a B. I’m just looking for places to start, books to read, websites to research and people to follow (not follow their investing advice but to better understand crypto as a whole). And also just important terms i should know and world topics i should follow.
