Know that when you invest in shitcoins/scamcoins you MAY profit, even make incredible gains, but you are playing a high stakes game of chicken - you're either betting on people being dumber than you or betting on people betting on people being dumber than

If your coin has the following properties:

• Promoted by celebrities and you tubers

• dev team is anonymous or have limited credentials

• purpose of coin is ambiguous or redundant

• gimmicks like massive coin burns, outrageous staking rewards, coins sent to vitalik

• name is similar to, or a variant of existing coins

• no white paper

• spelling mistakes, poorly written, copy pasted text on website

Then chances are you have invested in a shitcoin.

The problem with shitcoins is they can often make massive gains, as people pile in one after another and hype reaches fever pitch. But make no mistake, unless the coin has a chance of being used as currency (like bitcoin) or provides a useful service that you need the coin to pay for (like Ethereum). Then it's going to become worthless eventually, and the only thing keeping the value is other investors.

So by all means buy up your safemoons or Shib. But don't let yourself be the one holding the bag because those coins WILL be worth next to nothing in a year or two.
