Last time Bitcoin went back to 40k, alts barely moved. This time, alts are starting to move

Anyone here know why this might be?

It really doesn't make sense. Usually everything follows the price of Bitcoin. Last time we went back to 40k, the alts hardly rose at all.

This time we've hardly even touched 35k and they're already starting to rise by quite a lot visibly.

I understand that this is bullish, we're most likely in for a wild rise this weekend, and alts will most likely rise even higher this time towards 40k, but the market is so incredibly confusing.
