My todays lesson with Crypto.com: don't trust, verify.
I made a small deposit of Lisk from another exchange to Crypto.com. I opened my Crypto.com app, searched for Lisk deposit, and was presented with a QR code and address. Next, I initiated the transaction on my other exchange, and the transfer went through with no problem.
However, after several hours, I couldn't find the deposit on Crypto.com. I checked the transaction on Etherscan, and it was fully confirmed.
I started a support chat, filled out an Auto-Review, but my deposit still couldn't be located. Next, I spoke to a support specialist in the chat, and he told me that Lisk is paused at the moment. My withdrawal went to the correct address they provided, but if I had opened article 5978017 on help.crypto.com, I would have seen that Lisk is paused and my tokens went maybe nowhere.
Needless to say that I'm not happy how this went. It was just a small amount, but I'm a little depressed how things are handled nowadays.
