Ledger...Do I stay or do I go now?

My stack has increased tremendously over the past couple years. The higher it gets the more concerned I get about security. My computer is old, so most of the Ledger Live updates are still waiting to update. I have a nano S. I've done some research about Ledger Recover, shit sounds shady and I'm considering moving to a Blockstream Jade wallet.

Do most people think Ledger is compromised at this point?

Should I move my funds over to the Jade wallet and renew my seed phrase?

I've never transferred to another wallet so if anyone could shed some light on the process it'd be helpful.
