Lost access to my two-factor authorization and live in the US. asking for a friend.

Issue is on Binance.com, case id is #72180268. I have about 3k in crypto I am unable to access currently.

I have a binance account that I made a few months ago and enabled 2fa on that account on february 22nd. In april however, I lost access to my google authenticator app which was on my phone after it did a recent update. All the codes I had on it disappeared, but I was able to recover most of them. However, I wasn't able to get back my binance 2fa code though so far and I didn't have any backups. I tried going through the reset 2fa option on the binance website, and got to the part where it asked for a valid id or passport. however, I use a vpn but actually live in the us. because of this, I was wondering if I was still able to provide an id for this part or if I could do anything to make sure I could get the funds in the account back. I'm fine if the account has to be removed or moved to binance us, but I have about 3k in crypto in the account, a lot for us, which I hope to recover. Thanks for any help in advance.
