Maximize Brave BAT Earnings

Alright, I keep seeing people complaining that Brave lowered the output, which, yeah, I completely get the negativity. But, maybe this can help people get a little bit more out of their BAT earnings. In no particular order, here are some ways that you can increase your earnings.

• Use Brave on both mobile and your desktop/laptop devices. If you use a tablet too, install it there as well and use the tips here for mobile.
• Regarding the mobile Brave browser, set up ads so they appear even when you are not using the browser. As far as I can tell, this is not an option on the desktop version.
  • Open the browser.
  • Go to Settings then click Brave Rewards (this is separate from the Brave Rewards that shows your BAT earnings).
  • Turn on “Show ads when Brave is not in use”
• On all versions of Brave, make sure your maximum ads viewed is set to “5 ads per hour”
  • Open the browser.
  • Go to Brave Rewards.
  • On mobile, click View Details (not necessary for desktop)
  • Click on Settings.
  • Select “5 ads per hour” from the dropdown.
• On desktop, you can game the ads a little bit by refreshing the initial page shown when opening a new browser window or new tab. Before gaming it, setup up images on the dashboard.
  • Open a new tab or window
  • Click on Customize in the bottom right.
  • Make sure that “Show Background Images” and “Show Sponsored Images” are turned on.
• An ad will be shown every 3-5 refreshes and each ad has been netting be 0.01BAT. You can refresh and view the ads up to 5 times before the rewards stop earning. This takes about 15 seconds, just mash the refresh button until the rewards stop going up. This seems to ALWAYS be 0.01BAT earned for each ad, higher than some of the popup ads. I do this maybe once a day but sometimes 2 or 3. It can be done once an hour as long as you have the ads set to 5 ads per hour.
• On mobile, you can also game the ads a bit. The rewards will be the same as the desktop ones and work similarly. Simply open a bunch of new tabs. Every 3rd-5th tab will be an ad and give 0.01BAT.

Hopefully, this will help everyone get the most out of their Brave rewards. But, of course, the browser is pretty good even without the BATs.
