May I know why non air gapped wallet Trezor/ledger is much much more popular than air gapped wallet like keystone/cold card/airgap etc?

As to Trezor,is that our biggest risk is the Trezor company who has the ability to modify code to extract seed?(although it is open source) Why people tend not choose air gapped wallet to prevent all internet connection?
