Metamask withholding taxes FUD

Hi All,

there have been many posts here claiming metamask is now withholding taxes because of a line in the consensys TOS

They have officially clarified they are not withholding taxes in metamask

Legal terminology can be complex, but it's crucial to emphasize that this section DOES NOT apply to MetaMask or any other products that don't involve sales tax.

We believe in transparency and accuracy when it comes to sharing information with our users.

if you actually thought about it, it's not possible for them to do so.

They don't know what country I live in, my taxable income, how much I paid for my crypto to know how much tax I owe (you only pay taxes on gains remember) and most importantly they don't have my keys so can't sign transactions on my behalf

It's very important to not jump at headlines and assume they are correct or have all the information.
