Hey,
My job made me learn about MiCA (I'm not sitting in crypto). I have read some materials and seen some YT videos, but still can't grasp some things.
- How will MiCA change the market for cryptoassets broadly? Like, what will be the general biggest changes? if I want to e.g. buy some coin? From what I understand, there will be some anti-money laundering verifications.
- Will exchanges operating in EU have to obtain a permit?
- MiCA includes three types of crypto-assets: e-money; asset-referenced token; and other. To which categories classic cryptocurrencies fall (e.g. bitcoin)?
- What will the DAC8 directive bring? Will it reduce the possibility of not paying taxes on cryptocurrencies?
Thanks in advance for any info.
