It's a crypto that is not on a classic blockchain and was the first crypto that used DAG (direct acyclic graph) architecture. Transactions cost literally nothing and confirmations are done in less than a second. A lot of top cryptos nowadays have very, very low fees that are just a fraction of a cent like XLM, but as far as I know no other top crypto has literally zero fees like Nano does.
So why did it never reach any proper adoption? Was the fact that it is feeless actually working against reaching higher price? Is it lack of advertisement, lack of utilities or just lack of luck in getting more hyped, did it stopped getting properly developed over years?
Even last bullrun it did not reach close to its 2017 highs, so it is very hard to see it having a comeback.
