No amount of money will ever be enough

I recently got a private message from someone looking to get into cryptocurrency trading, he told me he makes $50/hour doing boring spreadsheet work 40h a week and wants a job that he’s passionate about. - I checked his profile out and he had already made millions by investing in crypto very very early on.

We talked for a while. - I told him not to give up his stable healthy income and dive into a profession he knows nothing about and that might be terribly regulated in the future. - I advised him maybe to work less and trade on the side, maybe on weekends as hobby, or retire early and trade all he wants then. - I told him he already won the game, he’s in the top single digit percent of income earners, and because has a family I advised him to invest in nesteggs for them!

I guess no amount of money will ever make you happy if you’re not happy with yourself. What do you guys think- would such a career change ever be advisable?
