No Crypto Friends IRL

Treading lightly not to be “Crypto Douche,” I’ve tested the waters with co-workers and gauged the climate in general for crypto-knowledge and sentiment at large. Likely that I work in a factory, aside from a couple sorry Doge bag-holders and a guy who thinks Shib is coming back, I am alone in my excitement and wonder. Everyone is too scared or too broke to try it. One guy yelled at me, that he couldn’t buy a cheeseburger with an NFT.

In the mean streets of crypto, it helps to have help. In 8 months, I’ve rekt myself in every way possible and took every 360 rake-flip to the face one can imagine with a bazillion unknown unknowns left to go. There aren’t enough hours in the day to watch all the YouTubes and go down all the Reddit rabbit holes to put a dent in it.

I want my ERCs on L2 and be rid of gas fees, and everyone acts like it’s so easy while simultaneously the closest guarded secret in the World on how-to. I see the LRC and Matic fighting, and so far between the two of them, I still can’t figure out how to do what I want to do.

I have every wallet, I’m on every exchange, and jumping-fucking-Jesus, it’s a shit show trying to guard one’s value. Spreads and fees and transfer fees all different everywhere you go, it seems insurmountable.

I just want to say thanks to this sub, alone together as we might be, because there is sure-as-shit nobody around here to talk to about it.
