Nobody here knows what they’re talking about, and you shouldn’t be relying on them to make choices for you.

The number of “what coin is the next ETH?” or “is the bull run over?” or “what price will X coin hit in 2022?” posts and comments are exhausting to wade through. The answer to all of these is nobody knows. Always.

And sure, there are some folks here with genuine, deep knowledge of the tech. There are others who have tons of relevant experience working in finance. There are still others who have been interested in or investing in crypto for many years, some of whom have done quite well for themselves.

And NONE of those people can accurately predict what will happen next. Crypto is a highly volatile, brand new industry with constantly changing market dynamics, regulatory and political realities, and technological innovations (not to mention scams and rug pulls).

The people telling you what to do are just as ignorant and uninformed as you are. They’re either shilling their own bags, repeating truisms they’ve read here a lot, or shitposting for moons. The people telling you to DYOR don’t do it themselves. They’re just hopping on whatever train everybody else seems to have boarded and hoping for the best.

There’s something to be said to seeing what other folks are talking about and interested in, but please just make decisions that you can afford and that make sense to you.
