Ok, so let's settle this, is Crypto an asset? Or a Currency?

All Cryptocurrencies

Isn't it dumb to ask on a sub called: r/CryptoCurrency? Hm? Not really, cause Alot of people and news classify it as an asset...Cause, it is.

Quote " It's an asset. It's not something that people use for transactional purposes on a regular basis. Because when it comes to currency, you want something that's going to predictably hold its value."

Another quote " A cryptocurrency (or β€œcrypto”) is a digital currency that can be used to buy goods and services."

Last quote i promise " Right now, we are not sure. Some say it’s a currency and others say it is an appreciating asset. "

So... It's not totally clear on how to classify Crypto due to the terms "Currency" and "Asset" could differ by each individual.

My opinion is that: Currencies are something that could settle by only if a wilder populace accepted as their primary or optional payment method to the products/services, so I think that Crypto, in fact being an asset, makes promising moves to be a Currency while countries like El Salvador andbig companies starting to adapt it.

So what do you think? There could come some interesting opinions about this! So please comment what you think!

Cheers!
