Old timers, did previous pre-cycles feel like this?

With the imminent ETF approval signaling institutional interest and upcoming halving it is hard to imagine we aren’t about to enter a bull market. The signals are so clear, and let’s hope I’m right.

My question for the old timers is, was it like this in previous cycles? I had a few coins back then but basically checked out after they went down and didn’t start paying attention until close to the new ath. Had I been paying attention, would I have seen this much buzz and excitement during the runup?
