I know that here in this sub we all love to hate on regulations, and how they are controlling and ruining crypto. And to a certain extent I agree.
Many regulations are way too invasive, limit privacy, are unclear or just overly complicated. Not to mention often going against what crypto stands for.
At the same time, I think that having a certain extent of regulation and regulation clarity can go a long way for crypto. As long as crypto is the Wild West of the finance world, then major institutions and investors will be hesitant to invest significant capital. However, I think that if we get some (again, some, not too much) regulations and regulations clarity, it can actually bring in new companies, users and institutional investor, overall benefiting both the crypto adoption and price.
