Ordinals are NOT part of the UTXO set, correct? Meaning that they don't even transfer do they?!? Meaning that ownership transfer of these inscriptions is not even actually possible, meaning that these aren't actually NFTs at all... Meaning that they're literally meaning-less.

Ordinals do follow the Satoshi, meaning that the hundreds (if not thousands) of inscriptions already made are literally just going to make unsuspecting transfers in the future MUCH more expensive than necessary... and ultimately, they will make ALL transfers more expensive than necessary because of the individual waste.
I believe they're wasteful no matter what, but I'm wondering whether they're wasteful and meaningless?? ... Or just wasteful??
