Over 5000 cryptocurrencies big enough to get listed on Coin Gecko have died since 2021

Just another reminder of how most of the projects you invest to in crypto space will simply completely fail. Like I'm not talking just going down -70% on your investment, but completely failing and going to straight $0 with no way to exit your position.

According to Coingecko's stats there's been 1320 completely dead coins (by now) created in 2020, 3322 from 2021, and over 1000 that were created only last year in 2022 that already completely died out by now. And these were coins that were big enough to get listed on coingecko. So just keep that in mind next bullrun which might be 2021 on steroids with even more shitty memecoins, rugpulls and malicious actors, and with so many greedy investors hoping to find that one moonshot which they won't find because unless you're part of that coin's team, then you're already too late anyways. And from the list of dead coins some of the more known total failures include Luna, Squid, Bitconnect, Spacebit etc...
