I'm from a little 3rd world country called Venezuela where a Huge part of the population is using crypto even if they don't even know what cypto is...
Here Binance is being used as a payment method like Paypal on another countries, you can see local business with "Binance accepted" signs, most people only uses usdt though and only think of it as a digital usd and have no idea what crypto is. there have been news of people selling a house and accepting "Binance" as payment.
Venezuelans in another countries send money to their families trough usdt in binance where it can be exchanged to our local currency trough their P2P, as it is one of the easier and cheaper ways of sending money here. So it's not weird to see old people with Binance on their phone even if they only use the P2P.
It's also used like a saving account because people being paid in our local currency will rather have their money in usdt on binance that in their bank account lol
Tldr: Binance is huge over here, even if it's only used as a wallet where people send or receive their "digital usd (mostly tether)" and have no idea what crypto is.
